The inventorscollective @ Dorpsplein13

The inventors collective has the ambition to leave an imprint on society that will be remembered.  Their project portfolio can be found

The inventors collective was founded by Professor Karin Hannes. She works from an inclusive, academic activism perspective and strongly liaises with KU Leuven university. The university has three core pillars in which she happily invests: (a) educating the citizens of tomorrow, (b) conducting social science research with a mission and (c) delivering services to society.

The inventors collective is the missing fourth pillar. It adds a co-creative component to her scholarly work, in which the idea of equal intelligence between people is taken as a baseline measure. Free space Townsquare13 offers her team a place in society to further explore the potential of co-creative research for positive change. It also allows the team to conduct small scale research with social impact. With the inventors collective, we aim to make a big change in the live of a small group of people.

The inventors collective proudly liaises with people to carry their creative ideas on how to make a positive difference in the life of others further. It also assists people in realizing their own ambitions.

"The public sphere is my favorite playground. Consequently, my workspot is mobile. If I am not in my office at KU Leuven, you will most likely find me at DORPSPLEIN 13 in Veltem-Beisem." Karin Hannes
