Cauliflower pie with chocolate? Chocolate mousse with red cabbage and applesauce? Vanilla ice cream with balsamic sauce?

We let our inspiration run wild on Friday 2 July and brought together an intergenerational consortium of villagers for the great Veltem 'potluck'. There was only one requirement; you bring your own interpretation of a challenging dish to share with the other residents and where possible a plate with cutlery. In return you could also taste the creations of others. We only accepted 'interesting' dishes, not the regular. Participant could interpret the word 'interesting' in their own unique way. As such, we could taste their cultural preference. We were pleasantly surprised by these creations.
